We styled and illustrated the look of the pages and icons for "HCAT"
in England. We chose to use a fun, casual brush stroke illustration of Hastings Pier with a richly hued gradation in the stroke
to communicate the slightly bohemian but highly creative style of the town. Yes, Hastings is famous for being the site of
the Battle of Hastings, where William the Conqueror Invaded England in 1066-
but it's also famous for being an ancient seaside port on the English channel- with a nice little pier that has valiently
hung on through many storms!
